Combination of Association Classification and 1- Nearest Neighbor Classifier in Data Mining System

Abstract

This paper introduces two methods in a data mining system. The first one, Association Classification, is constructed in GSTDM and mines knowledge rules from the database. And the second one, 1-Nearest Neighbor Classifier, acts as the supplement of the first one by using the rules of the first one. An expert system is built to supply the user with an answer on the basis of combining the two methods.
