On System Diagnoses of Small-scaled Business Societies

Abstract

Societies of Commerce and Industry (SCIs) are regional economic organizations of small-scaled business proprietors. We have been diagnosing information systems of each prefectural federation of SCIs (PF-SCI), which is the central organization of SCIs in each prefecture, and pointing problems and recommending some remedies. We have finished 22 PF-SCIs by now. Our viewpoints of diagnoses are system configuration, operation management organization, applications, and information security. By adding characteristic data of each PF-SCI to system diagnostic results, and performing multivariable analyses, we found clusters within the PF-SCI systems. Here, we present an interim report on our methodology and multi-variable-analysis results.
