Abstract

Navigation entry is complicated for multi-functionalization. Therefore, entry while driving has risk of causing the clash, because drivers gaze into a display. So voice recognition, which can entry without gazing into a display, is noticed. But it has a lot of issues, and it is difficult to entry without gazing into a display completely. In this paper, glance time and frequency were examined when participants attempted entry task using two navigation systems while driving. Result of it, causes that made a lot of glances were examined and improvements were proposed.
