Abstract
As application of education support system using mobile phone, we are examining online diet service for obese students. However, difference of user's purposes causes decline of user's motivation. It is necessary to add the new elements for improving effectiveness of the online diet service.
In this study, we examine the required elements by comparison with Japan and U.S. online diet services. One of KSF is customization and there are two approaches for customization. One approach is "computer oriented" and the other is "human oriented". The former can easily enlarge the scale of service, while accuracy of customization is limited. The latter can provide much customized services at the expense of employment costs.
