Organizations are increasingly using teams which consist of members from different divisions . Such a business form, called a cross-functional team, needs to be made taking account not only of individuals' performance or management cost, but also of interactions or relationships among individuals. In this research, a method for formation of cross-functional teams, with the consideration on social networks on individuals who are the candidates for the team, is proposed. Social networks in this method describe the interactions or the relationships among the candidates. This research adopts an approach with agent-based simulation for the analysis of the formation of cross- functional team, and treats interactions or relationships among individuals.
