The purpose of this paper is to clarify the factors that enable knowledge creation in the SECI process, and propose a new model of enablers of knowledge creation through the case in relation to improvements on the production line in the manufacturing department of Nissan Motor Company. Embodied knowledge, observed in the actions of organisational members who enable knowledge creation, is the continued practice of ethos (in Greek) founded in ethics and reasoning. Through proposing the concepts of ethos by organisational members, an in-depth understanding of the related primary factors that enable knowledge creation is possible from a perspective of actions.
