Abstract
In this study, based on interviews with foreign employees in Japanese companies who graduated from Japanese school, we approached the actuality of conflict which they face in the process to adapt to the organization. And we considered the management strategy of them. As a result, despite the role expectation of "bridge person" and "change agent" are essentially different, many foreign employees are employed based on the ambiguous expectation. And although the company expects them the agent for globalization of the workplace, the boss expects them the steady performance in the day-to-day operations. So these different expectations cause a conflict of which they were obtained.
