Abstract
The term Cloud has been around for quite some time in corporate IT. Costs for incorporating the Cloud are low and given that it lightens system management loads, it has been deemed suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises. The reality is, however, that very few companies have so far incorporated the Cloud in their systems. This is a report on the differences in thinking between companies which have incorporated the Cloud, as opposed to those which have not, based on research studies conducted by the general incorporated foundation Kansai Institute of Information Systems.
In addition, we will also introduce the initiatives of Mottox Inc. and Welfan Inc., two examples of SMEs with superior IT management.
