Recently, the use of cloud computing in the industry is increasing due to the development of ICT envionment and the numbers of cloud providers.
This research envisages the use of cloud computing among Japanese industries based on the METI report of "Actual Conditions Survey of Information Technology." It begins with an illustration of rough picture of the survey then gets into the details including entire pictures of the use of cloud and differences in accordance with different industries.
Then, the cross reference analysis will be given among differences of industries, areas of operations such as financial accounting, logistics and sales in order to examine whether there are any advantages for particular industries for the use of cloud computing.
