Abstract
Among the VDT workers, 80% people have symptoms of body fatigue. For example, eye fatigue, irritability, and stiff neck are caused. And, these symptoms may cause operational mistakes. Using EEG in this study, we build the relationship between stress and work mistake. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the environment in order to reduce the work mistake. We consider how to build a work mistake model. We assess the appropriateness of the model using the identification accuracy and generalization capability featured a support vector machine and multiple regression equation. We evaluate the work environment by the product array experiment, comparing the difference of people and work environment such as size of the characters in the VDT.
