Abstract
Systems analysis helps people derive the needs for IS development. Cultural historical analysis of organization is required in its early part. At present there are few methods for it. Activity theory is considered an appropriate framework for representing the analysis of its early part. However, it has no concrete methods due to the nature of general theory. It remains in the state of art. Activity theory is related with consciousness. One of its origins is thought to be phenomenology, which has concept of method for doing phenomenology. Therefore, we will present a concrete method that uses activity theory as notation and phenomenology as method with an artifical example. This effort is expected to pave an avenue for practitioners to take initiative in systems analysis by themselves.
