Abstract
Under the remarkable innovation, the advent of new surveillance society has been pointed out.
Also monitored by the conventional CCTV, by techniques such as face recognition, will be progressing into a new stage.
However, the development of surveillance society is not only technical elements. Not a technological determinism, perspective of social construction should be important.
In this paper, the author will focus on the process of social construction of surveillance by the conventional CCTV.
