Abstract
We propose an approach to isolation problems in temporary housing, the approach for facilitating the online/offline communication between the resident learners. To establish a new communication network, we provided a tablet PC course that attracts diversified participants' interest. We designed the tablet PC course as a communication-centric one. We defined a curriculum of the course, assignments, lecturer's guidelines on how to teach and support the learners. A preliminary practice for 15 participants was carried out from November 2015 through January 2016. In this paper, we give a report on the results of the analysis: changes in learner's skill of ICT, changes in learner's attitude toward the use of tablet PCs, and changes in offline/online communication networks.
