Abstract

Through practical learning such as field work and group study, to set academic goals and to improve problem-solving abilities and mutual communication skills are called Project Based Learning (PBL). Faculty of Business Administration in many universities practices PBL with third parties like private companies and public organizations.
This report describes one year activity regarding the cooperation of Ishigaki-City, Okinawa and Sanno University, school of management for the promotion of the local industry. In these activities, the relationship made the students have more fun in learning and to stimulate their intellectual curiosity. Also, we found that the practical activity and lecture-style learning was not alternative but complementary to create practical and innovative solutions.
