In recent years, the development of technologies such as information and communication technology (ICT) has led to the growth of a new economy based on the Internet in addition to existing industries such as manufacturing in China. Economic development in China is remarkable and China has surpassed Japan to become the second largest in the world and surpasses the number one in the United States in terms of GDP. Behind this lies China's unique mechanism, which has rapidly increased its industrial competitiveness through the introduction of the market economy. This paper clarifies China's policy spectrum and proposes the mechanism of industrial competitiveness as well as the future direction of China after consideration of China's industrial competitiveness in comparison with the United States.
