Consideration of marketing from the Viewpoint of Installation Location and Price of Beverage Vending Machines

Abstract

Currently, there are many vending machines in Japan. This report focuses on the fact that the pricing of vending machines differs depending on the installation location. We classify vending machine installation locations into several categories, record prices, and analyze price competition between vending machines and pricing for each category of installation locations. In addition, we will conduct interviews with vending machine installers to clarify the current condition of vending machines. In this way, we consider appropriate pricing to maximize profits and look for points to utilize in marketing vending machine installers.
