Abstract

This paper describes in detail the design and implementation of a DAO suitable for academic activities through the case of Japan's first academic DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) recently launched by the Digital Human Resource Development Society. In addition, I will also describe the future vision (development of educational DAO) as an academic organization using DAO. Finally, we consider the "differences" in governance between real organizations (commercial enterprises, non-profit organizations) and DAO.
