A method for idea generation and designing of business model, and application to digital transformation

Abstract

First, we investigate defects of Business Model Canvas. We divide business models into three perspectives. And, we propose the way to construct business model from the combination of elements of each perspective, in order to create the optimum business model efficiently. To examine and construct business model for DX (Digital Transformation), we consider long- or medium-term management plan in grand design phase of DX. Then, we propose Business Model Accomplishment Diagram that describes the causal relationship between the elements of business model and can explain the reason for business model success.
