A Study on the Use of Cashless Payment among the Elderly and the Spread of Code Payment

Abstract

In recent years, restaurants and retail stores have been actively considering and introducing various payment methods. In recent years, there has been an upward trend in the usage rate of code payments, especially among cashless payments. While the use rate of cashless payments is increasing in the Japan of an aging society, the spread of cashless payments among the elderly is not progressing. This report focuses on the use of cashless payments among the elderly. We actually surveyed the elderly about the use of cashless payments and their awareness of them, and based on the survey results, we considered the prospects for future popularization.
