抄録

Trapidil inhibited: TXA₂-induced platelet aggregation in rabbits, TXA₂-induced constriction of excised strips of rabbit aorta, synthesis of TXA₂ in platelets, TXA₂-induced ischemic changes of heart of rabbits and increase in TXA₂ synthesis after high cholesterol feeding in rats.
The above results show that trapidil posseses inhibitory action of TXA₂ synthesis and antagonistic actions on TXA₂, in addition to coronary dilating action.
