Abstract
This paper describes the research agenda of the future by examining critically the significance of telework research. Specifically, this paper focuses on the wording of the next listed on the web site of The Japan Telework Society (J@TS). That is, "Telework works to release from the spatial constraints in work arrangement and business activities." and "The modalities of telework to be useful as a tool that would balance the free life and the development of economic and social activities (would be discussed in J@ST)." Through the review of these discourses, agenda of telework research of Kansai would be revealed.
