In recent years, a working style at not only home teleworking, but also mobile working such as transportation, accommodations, restaurants, and co-working spaces has been increased in a teleworking trend with an expansion of popularity. And, wireless LAN services, especially public wireless LAN services (public Wi-Fi) for an assumed unspecified number of users, have been utilized. However, various threats are hidden behind, such as "wiretapping", "unauthorized access", "tampering", "spoofing (internet identity theft)" and "springboard attack" in public Wi-Fi, and they could become obstacles to teleworking popularization. Public Wi-Fi providers must perform measures such as encryption between wireless communication sections and blocking communication between terminals in order to ensure the user's safety, and furthermore, storage of access logs to prevent misuse of the provided Wi-Fi. On the other hand, it is necessary for public Wi-Fi users such as teleworkers to perform measures such as confirmation of a connection access point, encryption, and SSL use. For safe Wi-Fi use by teleworkers, it can be said that teleworkers themselves or companies / organizations providing teleworking environments contribute to popularization of teleworking by understanding and practicing the minimum information security measures.
