The demand for home care is expected to increase to 4.5 million people from 3.2 million people in 10 years. It is a precipitous change, and lack of human resources as care workers in terms of both quality and quantity has been a major concern. Nurturing of care workers, inadequate evaluation method, poor employment conditions leading to the high turnover rate have been pointed out as critical issues. This study reports the results of field experiment using a smartphone and cloud systems. The experiment is conducted to examine the following four points: 1) successful accumulation of operation record of care worker without much effort; 2) effect of the operation-record as the attribution of care workers to their motivation; 3) effect to the quality and the efficiency in this field; 4) effect of tele-management in this field.
