Free-flight tests of plates and prisms were carried out in a wind tunnel uniform flow, The results are compared with those of numerical integration of equations of motion based on experimentally obtained aerodynamic characteristics of rotating bodies.
It is shown that the trajectory of a missile released into a flow from rest is distributed in a wide range, which has a circular cross section, and the upper limit of the distribution can be predicted approximately by the numerical integration method.
