Measuring Techniques in the Wind Tunnel Experiments

Abstract

Some new techniques for the measurement in wind tunnels are presented.Hand-made micro-computer systems are used in most of our experimental works.They are used both as a data processor and an apparatus controller.We introduce how they are used in our experiments for the conditional sampling.As an apparatus controller, they are used in flow visualization experiments.They control both smoke and flood light.A multi-probe anemometer with 24 hotwires is also explained.
