Characteristics of wind forces on airport control towers with typical plans and with C without the office buildings were investigated by a wind tunnel .
The results obtained are discussed from the view point of securing of serviceability of the tower in strong winds. Main results are as follows,
(1) In the case of without the office building, towers consisted of three legs of triangular cross-section are advantageous.
(2) In the case of with the office building wind force behaviors were comparatively improved for all towers.
