Abstract
In structure design field, a method to estimate the effect of complex terrain on local wind is need. Due to the ability to consider eddies generated on such terrain, applications of large eddy simulation have been proposed. However in such conventional applications, applicability of LES has been showed only at a single measurement site near ground. In this study, through the local wind prediction by combining mesoscalme meteorological simulation with LES, the effect of complex terrain simulated by LES are validated at 3 measurement sites located far away.
