Abstract

In recent years, electronic devices such as personal computers and smart phones have been spread ing. Along with this, the importance of security for protecting information communication terminals from mali cious third parties is increasing year by year. Password authentication, which allows only the owner himself / herself to access the terminal by inputting a preset password as the mainstream personal authentication meth ods at present, has been widely used conventionally. But with this method, there is a risk of theft and it is not safe enough. Therefore, in this research, we focused on "voice authentication" which is one of biometrics au thentication using the characteristics of human voice. We also propose a method to combine image authentica tion with speech authentication in order to improve safety. In this research, in order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, we experiment with various conditions and consider the result.
