We address the challenge of effectively visualizing input-output tables using a network analysis approach. To achieve this, we expand upon previous methods by incorporating each country's upstreamness measure and regional category. This method analyzes trade relationships among countries using Z-scores and visualizes the input-output tables as minimum spanning trees (MSTs). The resulting networks are also quantitatively evaluated in terms of degree centrality and closeness centrality. In our experiments, using the world input-output tables available from the WIOD (www.rug.nl/ggdc/valuechain/wiod/) or OECD (https://www.eui.eu/Research/Library/ResearchGuides/Economics/Statistics/DataPortal/TiVA), we find that our visualized networks are intuitively and easily interpretable. In particular, we show that the visualization results can uncover the relationship between the upstreamness measures and regional categories, as well as changes in the roles of countries.
