Abstract

Twenty six kinds of bacteria were isolated from the well water of the Governmental Institute of Brewing (Tokyo).
They were classified into three groups as follows.
1 st. group: Pseudomonas shuylkilliensis Chester including 17 strains.
2 nd group: Flvaobacterium aquatile (Frankland et Frankland) Bergey et al. var including 5 strains.
3 rd Group: Achromobacter liquidum (Frankland et Frankland) Bergey et. al. including 4 strains.
The cultural, morphological physiological and productive properties of them were comparatively researched.
