A new method of the turbidity of saké.

Abstract

A new method is described for measuring the turbidity of saké. We measured the turbidity of saké with the Pulfrich nephelometer. At the same time we measured the turbidity of BaSO₄ precipitation with the same apparatus under certain conditions and the relation between SO₄ ion concentration and turbidity is expressed as a curve. The turbidity of saké is expaessd as SO₄ ion concentration in turbid BaSO₄ solution. Turbidity of saké=SO₄mg/cc.×10^-4
