Abstract

The effect of the sole vitamin addition judged by cell growth and acid production were investigated using 8 strains of type cultures under shaking condition.
Strains decomposed acetic acid to carbon dioxide and water were effective by the addition of pantothenic acid, nicotinic acid and biotin.
Pantothenic acid was effective to the strains and in some of the strains, nicotinic acid, para-aminobenzoic acid and biotin seemed to be effective individually.
