An 81-year-old man was treated with stent graft insertion after diagnosis of ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm. Then decompressive laparotomy was performed for abdominal compartment syndrome. However, abdominal aortic aneurysm and retroperitoneal hematoma getting larger, open surgical side branch ligation was performed for endoleaks. After that, because he developed retroperitoneal abscess, percutaneous drainage was performed. We report a rare case in which ACS and endoleaks were treated after EVAR for RAAA, but the patient also developed a retroperitoneal abscess.
