After the studies on relations between activities and calcining temps. ranging from 150°C to 1300°C, fundamental data were proposed to the investigation on the properties of various commercial plasters.
The composition, thermal expansion, thermoanalysis, dehydration and the rate of calcination were measured for the raw gypsum.
The sp. gr., volume wt., and decomposition of sulphate were studied for each calcined gypsums. (continue)
