In the surgical treatment of patients with knee osteoarthritis (knee OA), the choice of surgical method should be carefully considered. At our hospital, knee OA is treated with total knee arthroplasty (TKA), unicondylar knee replacement (UKA), and high tibial osteotomy (HTO). In this study, we examined the trends and problems of adaptation in each surgical procedure. It is important to evaluate the condition of the knee and select a surgical procedure that can improve the patient's activities of daily living, and the indication for the surgical procedure should not be forcibly expanded.
