According to AIJ Recommendations for Loads on Buildings (2015), the design load is set as multiplying the basic value by the load factor based on limit state design. In this study, the basic value of the annual maximum snow depth and annual maximum snow weight used for roof snow load was calculated using weather data up to 2022. The probability distribution of the extreme value was organized. And then the ratio of the annual maximum value to the base value and the coefficient of variation were calculated. As a result, the regression equation was obtained for calculating the ratio between the mean value of a load effect to its basic load effect using the basic value as a parameter.
