チオ尿素の不整合相における変調波の構造

抄録

Modulated structure of thiourea has been re-analyzed in the framework of the rigid molecule model. It has revealed that the transverse modulation wave which corresponds to the ferroelectric mode inevitably accompanies the longitudinal component transformed under the B_3g irreducible representation. The relation between the non-ferroelectric mode and the strain energy peculiar to the incommensurate phase has been discussed on a structural standpoint.
