More than 8% of males are color blindness. Especially, it is quite difficult for them to discriminate red colors from green ones. Here, we introduce representative tools to assist their color identification by light sources, in addition to our developments. Until now, red lights have been proven to be the auxiliary contribution to the improvement of the color identification of color blindness. In the future, we should narrow down much more efficient wavelength and expect the application to the next-generation light sources, such as organic EL (electroluminescence).
