Abstract

Braille writing system is one of the ways the visual impairment disabled people use to communicate with normal people, thus this research has an objective to study the influence of the thickness of the Screen ink on the perceptive capability of the visual impairment disabled people. Parallelly, this research also aims to check the quality (color difference before heat and after heat) of screen printing that is proper for printing Braille language or not. We also checked the recognized of image and Braille letters with the real defective peoples. The result showed that the screen printing was proper to use for making Braille media. The highest thickness showed good recognition. Heat the emboss the Braille affected to color change quite much.
