This research is to show that even with a 2D picture the chromatic adaptation to illumination can occur if the 2D picture is perceived 3D space. Pungrassamee et. al. (2015) showed that the chromatic adaptation took place when window size was large, and subject can recognize the information in the test room. This phenomenon was reproduced by 2D pictures with a help of D-up viewer which change 2D picture to 3D scene. The pictures were shown on a display and subjects observed them through a D-up viewer to judge the color appearance by the elementary color naming method. It was confirmed that the color appearance was exactly same as those observed in the real two rooms case.
