Abstract Osaka Dental University Faculty of Health Sciences has accepted many international exchange students proactively since 2017. Thirty exchange students have entered and enrolled in our faculty. Twenty-eight students were from China and two were from South Korea. In our faculty, the student support division was started in April 2018 with six members, and has comprehensively provided health control, psychological support, student life support and learning support. Regarding supporting international exchange students, the international exchange division has played the main role with our assistance and the administrative department. In our infirmary, doctors and nurses conducted health control such as health checks and vaccinations. Regarding psychological support, the student consultation division provided consultations under a certified psychologist. Regarding learning support, teaching staff played the main role, especially for learning Japanese, which is difficult for foreigners. The staff also explained the contents of lectures. Exchange students, our staff and Japanese students met and exchanged opinions. At the meetings, relationships, learning Japanese and financial difficulties were pointed out. Moreover, the career support division and our committee helped with finding jobs and going to senior school after graduation. Our committee members engaged in multi-disciplinary collaboration closely and effectively.
