根尖切除術における3DX^®画像の有用性

Abstract : This study compared the clinical findings of apicoectomy with the images of dental radiographs and 3DX^® that were taken preoperatively. Three dentists evaluated the presence or absence of root fracture, periapical lesion, fenestration, defect of buccal bone, untreated canal or fin/isthmus/lateral canal in 31 teeth of 26 patients on dental radiographs and 3DX^® images. There was no significant difference in the rate of correct answers between dental radiographies and 3DX^® images. Although the examination of 3DX^® could clarify the bucco-lingual configuration, minute structures such as the presence of root fractures or lateral canals were difficult to diagnose correctly.
