For working students it is very difficult to take live interactive lectures and attend in seminars that are held in University campus. Therefore there is a strong hope to realize the system that can satisfy such requirements students can attend in seminars and lectures at any time and any place. In order to realize this, We have developed a virtual seminar system, VSS, based on SNS(social networking system) and RMS(relational media integration system). VSS can satisfy above mentioned requirements by one-stopped virtual seminar function, asynchronous SNS control function and on-demand multimedia lecture function. This paper describes VSS, and reports the effectiveness of the system by the experiments with actual three types of educational and research social networks.
