Abstract

The tissue concentrations of sulf adimethoxine and sulf amonomethoxine in horses were determined after intravenous administration of these drugs. The highest values were found in the urine, bile, and kidney. Thus, the presence of an enterohepatic cycle of the drugs was suggested. The concentration in the spinal and synovial fluids was considerably high when determined both in autopsied and biopsied animals.
