In the 1st report, influenses of mean value of input signal on the frequency response of a hydraulic servomotor were elucidated.
In this report, influences of sinusoidal component of input signal on the D. C. gain (mean velocity of actuator/mean value of spool displacement) of a hydraulic servomotor, are elucidated analytically and experimentally.
The Harmonic balance method is applied to obtain the analytical solution.
D. C. gain is decreased by the superposed sinusoidal input signal.
Effects of mean value X0, amplitude X1, of sinusoidal component and frequency ω of input signal, on the D. C. gain are made clear as follows:
(1). For constant X0 and X1, D. C. gain takes its minimum value at the natural frequency of the actuator.
(2). For constant X1, and ω, D. C. gain is minimum at X0→0. (3). For constant X0 and ω, D. C. gain is decreased with an increase in X1. Analytical, experimental and simulated results well agreed.
