Abstract
Suma District which was a scenic place and blessed with the source of river in Kobe city was chosen for the site of The Muko Imperial Villa. The construction started in 1911 and completed in 1914. The construction of garden started in January 1913 and completed in 1914. The document of garden construction in details is left. Now, there are no Japanese buildings like the palace (Gozasyo), but many gardens and the facilities of gardens are still left. Those convey the figure of the former days. I considered the garden remains of an ancient structure of Muko Imperial Villa with the garden construction document.
