Abstract

It is thought that the Anapji Garden which is garden ruins of Unified Silla Period in Kyongju, Korea expressed cult of immortality world, because the pond have three islands in it.
However, I think the Anapji Garden is Pure Land Garden at the same time as that is the cult of immortality world garden.
The reason to think about like that are the ground plan of the garden, the structure of west bank and the many buildings built on the top, existence of the remains which are related to Buddhism such as Buddhist images excavated from the pond, and the background that prosperity of the Jodo Buddhism in Unified Silla Period.
