Abstract
This paper discusses the geomagnetic field changes in the wider area of Kopaonik mountain which was affected by M=6.0 earthquake on May 18, 1980. Analysis of total field intensity data from thirteen surveys, carried out in the period May 1980-April 1986, reveals anomalous behaviour of local field changes in particular time intervals. Interpretation has been attempted on the basis of possible connection with increased seismic activity which has been continuing in this area since the main shock.
