Abstract
Questionnaire survey with construction workers were conducted for two purpose: to clarify the actual situation of wearing a ventilated working jacket (VWJ) and the psychological response to wearing a VWJ, and to understand the influence of the mask. The results of the survey showed that more than 90% of the workers wore VWJ and masks. In the subjective evaluations, the results showed that the workers were feeling heat stress compared with the results of past field measurements, which may be influenced by the mask. As a result of the clothing survey, long-sleeved VWJ and short-sleeved undershirt are mostly used, but there is no bias in the materials.
