Abstract
This study evaluates the uplift resistance of anchor buried under the inclined ground surface by using 1g model test and 3D FE analysis. The sand bed was prepared by air dried Toyoura sand and its density was 1.60 g/cm3. 3D FE analysis was proposed by Tanaka. The uplift resistance considered almost constant until the inclined angle i of 20 degrees and decreased over i of 20 degrees. According to the increase of i, the angle of propagation of shear band was smaller in lower side of inclined surface and larger in upper side of inclined surface.
